Groups Menu Item:<\/span><\/h1>\n

The Groups Menu item gives you an overview of a group and its students.<\/p>\n

Once you have selected a group you can do the following:<\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Message to the group<\/strong> – if you click here, it will take you to the Message Menu Item and you can send a message. There is an overview of sending messages here<\/a><\/span>.<\/li>\n
    2. Grades<\/strong> – you can print out a report here on students attendance, grade results etc.,<\/li>\n
    3. Attendance<\/strong> – if you click here, you will be taken to the attendance menu item<\/span>.<\/a><\/li>\n
    4. Calendar<\/strong> – clicking here will take you to the calendar for the group.<\/li>\n
    5. Study Aims<\/strong> – Your academic director can add here what the students’ aims and needs are from their studies in this group.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Group Student Details:<\/span><\/h2>\n

      (The first three items are added to the system via the Attendance Menu Item<\/span><\/a><\/span>)<\/p>\n

        \n
      1. The \u00abAttendance statuses\u00bb tell you how many attendances other than present they have received.<\/li>\n
      2. \u00abAttendance\u00bb is their percentage present.<\/li>\n
      3. \u00abNo Homework\u00bb shows the number of homework assignments not done.<\/li>\n
      4. \u00abAverage\u00bb shows their average grade marks. (These are entered into the system via the Grades Menu Item<\/span><\/a>.)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        The icons at the end are:<\/p>\n

        \"Edit\u00a0Edit student’s details – you can enter data into the student’s details card if you are authorised.<\/p>\n

        \"studentStudent Grades – you can see the grades a student has been given in all their groups.<\/p>\n

        \"student\u00a0Student History – here you can add comments to go on the student’s end of course report.<\/p>\n

        \"Attendance\"Attendance – this takes you to the attendance of the student for this group.<\/p>\n

        \"SendSend message to student – you can send a system message<\/a><\/span><\/span> to the student from here.<\/p>\n
