The student’s card Payment Tab is divided into three sections:<\/p>\n

  1. Where payments and invoices etc., are created. You can find full details about that here.<\/li>\n
  2. Details of the students finances relating to the group. We look at this in detail below.<\/li>\n
  3. Lists of transactions made via 1 above appear here.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Transaction Section:<\/span><\/h2>\n

    Payments can be added and invoices created for individual students on their card. There is a full explanation on adding payments etc., in the Finance Module here<\/a><\/span>.<\/p>\n

    Payment Section:<\/span><\/h2>\n

    We will now look at this is more detail:<\/p>\n

    1. Taken from the group card.<\/li>\n
    2. The cost of the course is displayed here if the payment type in 6 is \u00abFor all classes\u00bb. There are 3 payment types possible: \u00abFor all classes\u00bb, \u00abHourly in arrears\u00bb and \u00abHourly in advance\u00bb If the payment type is changed to an hourly one, the cost of the course is not displayed.<\/li>\n
    3. There are possible statuses (depending on your system settings) \u00abEnrolled\u00bb, \u00abReservation\u00bb and \u00abAwaiting\u00bb. These are controlled by the Students Tab on the group card.<\/li>\n
    4. The Settings button controls payments schemes, discounts etc., We will look at that in more detail below.<\/li>\n
    5. The dates that the student is enrolled in the group.<\/li>\n
    6. The way in which the student will pay for lessons. This is filled by default from the Settlement Type that is chosen when creating the group.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      If we click \u00abSee details\u00bb in the Payment section, we can then start to apply discounts, payment schemes etc.,<\/p>\n

      Adding a Payment Scheme to a course:<\/span><\/h2>\n

      1. We can add a payment scheme for the cost of the course. How to create payment schemes are explained in the Finance Module here<\/a><\/span><\/span>.\n

        1. Click \u00abAdd payment scheme\u00bb.<\/li>\n
        2. Select the payment scheme you want from the drop-down list.\"select<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
        3. This payment scheme will then be applied to the cost of the course:\n
            \n
          1. You can edit the installments.<\/li>\n
          2. Add an installment(s).<\/li>\n
          3. Delete an installment.<\/li>\n
          4. When finished click \u00abSave\u00bb.\"payment<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            <\/a>Adding a Discount to a Course:<\/span><\/h2>\n

            1. We can add a discount to the cost of the course. How to create discounts are explained in the Finance Module\u00a0 here<\/a><\/span><\/span>.\n

              1. Click \u00abAdd discount\u00bb.<\/li>\n
              2. Select the discount you want from the drop-down list.\"add<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
              3. You will be asked a number of questions; select Yes.\"discount<\/a>\"discount<\/a><\/li>\n
              4. This discount will the be applied to the cost of the course.\n

                1. The name of the discount and percentage.<\/li>\n
                2. The new amounts due.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                  Generate Installments:<\/span><\/h2>\n

                  This button allows you to create a one-off installment plan just for this student. You can find out how to\u00a0here<\/span><\/span>.<\/a><\/p>\n
