Creating the Cash Register:<\/span><\/h2>\n

Before you can begin to use the Finance Module there are a number of things you must set up first. One of them is the Cash Register. This will be used to monitor the cash that moves in and out of your school.<\/p>\n

  1. Click \u00abAdd cash register\u00bb.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    1. Name the register.<\/li>\n
    2. Put the opening cash balance.<\/li>\n
    3. Click \u00abSave & Close\u00bb.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Now your cash register will appear:<\/p>\n

      1. This is where we record transactions (See Adding Numberings below).<\/li>\n
      2. You can add extra cash registers for other staff.<\/li>\n
      3. Edit the cash register.<\/li>\n
      4. The green shows we are using the default cash register (in cases where you have more than one).<\/li>\n
      5. Cash register balance.<\/li>\n
      6. Download report (See below<\/a><\/span><\/span>).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Adding Numberings:<\/span><\/h2>\n

        Before we can Add Payments or Returns we need to create numbering systems for these items. If you try\u00a0to create an item without having done so, you will see this message:<\/p>\n

        The two specific settings that Cash Transactions uses are:<\/p>\n
