After you have created your teacher<\/span><\/a> in the system, a card will be created:<\/p>\n

Cards Storing Information:<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

The top line contains cards of different sorts of information which will be covered elsewhere in this tutorial module.<\/p>\n

Sending Access Details<\/strong>:<\/span><\/h2>\n

After you have created your teacher you may want to send them details of how they can access their account:<\/p>\n

The first button will send a system message, but as they cannot access the system yet we cannot use that.<\/p>\n

\"Access\u00a0 This button will print out their access details.<\/p>\n

\"Email This button will send their access details by email.<\/p>\n

\"SMS This button will send their access details by SMS.<\/p>\n

Messaging Platforms:<\/span><\/h2>\n

You can send messages directly to teachers’ mobiles using a number of different messaging platforms. There is information on how to do that here<\/span><\/a><\/span>.<\/p>\n

Edit and Other Actions:<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

Clicking on the 3 lines will make this appear:\"Edit<\/a><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Login – This option allows you to log in as that teacher. This is useful if you want to check what they can see and do.<\/li>\n
  2. Edit access details – Here you can change the teacher’s user name and password.<\/li>\n
  3. Print access details – Prints\u00a0out the teacher’s user name and password as in the last section.<\/li>\n
  4. Remove \u2013 delete.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Edit Teacher:<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

    Clicking on this icon<\/p>\n

    will open up the teacher card and you can edit it.<\/p>\n

    Archive Teacher:<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

    Clicking on this icon<\/p>\n

    will archive the teacher. You can find out more about Archiving\u00a0here<\/a><\/span>.<\/p>\n

    Teacher Colour:<\/span><\/h2>\n

    You can select a colour to be associated with the teacher. When you look at the calendars you will see items in the colour associated with the teacher:<\/p>\n
