{"id":6360,"date":"2018-10-25T15:41:28","date_gmt":"2018-10-25T15:41:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.schoolmate.eu\/?post_type=tutorial&#038;p=6360"},"modified":"2024-08-22T09:40:37","modified_gmt":"2024-08-22T09:40:37","slug":"company-settlement","status":"publish","type":"tutorial","link":"https:\/\/www.schoolmate.eu\/es\/tutorial\/company-settlement\/","title":{"rendered":"Company Settlement"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The amounts that a company owes your school for teaching can be calculated in two ways:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Hourly<\/strong> \u2013 which takes into account the hourly rate for classes and the number in a given billing period.<\/li>\n<li><strong>For all classes<\/strong> \u2013 based on the fixed course price.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The main difference is that with <strong>Hourly<\/strong> settlement the system calculates what the company owes you. With <strong>For all classes<\/strong> you enter the amount that you are expecting to receive in settlement. So, you can charge a deposit, all in advance, monthly etc., regardless of what lessons have actually taken place.<\/p>\n<p>When you <a href=\"https:\/\/www.schoolmate.eu\/en\/tutorial\/how-to-create-a-company\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff; text-decoration: underline;\">create a company<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/a>\u00a0you select the payment method that you will be using to charge the company here:<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.schoolmate.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/2019-04-23_1510.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-7438 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.schoolmate.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/2019-04-23_1510.png\" alt=\"select payment type\" width=\"647\" height=\"320\" \/><\/a><\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">How to calculate the amount due for hourly payment:<\/span><\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>Go to School Admin module.<\/li>\n<li>Select Companies.<\/li>\n<li>Click on the company you want to settle.<\/li>\n<li>Go to the Payments card.<\/li>\n<li>Click the Settle button.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.schoolmate.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/2019-01-13_1615.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-6496 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.schoolmate.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/2019-01-13_1615.png\" alt=\"Hourly payment\" width=\"1344\" height=\"579\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.schoolmate.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/2019-01-13_1615.png 1344w, https:\/\/www.schoolmate.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/2019-01-13_1615-768x331.png 768w, https:\/\/www.schoolmate.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/2019-01-13_1615-1280x551.png 1280w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1344px) 100vw, 1344px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>After that you need to choose the type of settlement. There are two options:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Usual\u00a0<\/strong>&#8211; this is very straight forward and the system will simply calculate the cost of each course.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Cross Charge<\/strong> &#8211; with this settlement type the system will calculate the cost of each course and then break it down into the departments that the students work in within the company. <strong>Payments Card<\/strong> &#8211; <strong>Add settlement<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.schoolmate.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/2019-01-16_1653.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-6509 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.schoolmate.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/2019-01-16_1653.png\" alt=\"settlement for all classes\" width=\"672\" height=\"236\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Now you need to:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Enter the period for the settlement.<\/li>\n<li>Enter the amount.<\/li>\n<li>Add a description if required for the invoice.<\/li>\n<li>Click Save &amp;
