{"id":6428,"date":"2019-01-01T15:26:40","date_gmt":"2019-01-01T15:26:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.schoolmate.eu\/?post_type=tutorial&#038;p=6428"},"modified":"2026-01-12T13:13:27","modified_gmt":"2026-01-12T13:13:27","slug":"groups-to-regenerate","status":"publish","type":"tutorial","link":"https:\/\/www.schoolmate.eu\/es\/tutorial\/groups-to-regenerate\/","title":{"rendered":"Groups to Regenerate"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>When\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.schoolmate.eu\/en\/tutorial\/how-to-create-a-group\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff; text-decoration: underline;\">creating a group<\/span><\/span>,<\/a>\u00a0there are three ways that you can create the lessons for it:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>According to Due Date<\/strong> &#8211; SchoolMate will create as many lessons on as many days as required between two dates.<\/li>\n<li><strong>According to Number of Hours<\/strong> &#8211; The system will create the exact number of total hours required<\/li>\n<li><strong>According to Number of Lessons<\/strong> &#8211; The system is not concerned about the amount of hours of teaching just that the group has the correct number of lessons<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>When you make changes to the number of hours and lessons planned for a group, you are asked if you want to generate lessons to bring the number of hours or lessons to the expected amount.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.schoolmate.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/2019-01-02_1249.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-6432 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.schoolmate.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/2019-01-02_1249.png\" alt=\"Lesson cancelled\" width=\"521\" height=\"84\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Groups which do not have the number of hours or lessons expected by the system are shown on the bottom of the Lessons Card:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.schoolmate.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/2019-01-02_12329999.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-6431 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.schoolmate.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/2019-01-02_12329999.png\" alt=\"Number of Hours Planned\" width=\"787\" height=\"183\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.schoolmate.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/2019-01-02_12329999.png 787w, https:\/\/www.schoolmate.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/2019-01-02_12329999-768x179.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 787px) 100vw, 787px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Groups which do not have the expected number of hours or lessons appear on the Main Page:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.schoolmate.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/2019-01-02_1256999.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-6433 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.schoolmate.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/2019-01-02_1256999.png\" alt=\"Groups to Regenerate\" width=\"440\" height=\"323\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>You can ask the system to regenerate all groups, or individual groups, or you can look at the individual group to see exactly what the problem is.<\/p>\n<p>Teachers can also cause discrepancies between the number of planned and actual lessons and hours if they have permission to Manage their Schedules and to Add and Delete Lessons.<\/p>\n<p>These permissions are controlled from:<\/p>\n<p><strong>School Admin &#8211; Settings &#8211; Basic Settings &#8211;<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"> <a style=\"color: #0000ff; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.schoolmate.eu\/tutorial\/basic-settings\/#system-configuration\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">System Configuration<\/a><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.schoolmate.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/2019-01-02_13079999.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-6434 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.schoolmate.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/2019-01-02_13079999.png\" alt=\"teachers add and delete lessons\" width=\"438\" height=\"100\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":4,"featured_media":0,"parent":0,"menu_order":0,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"_sitemap_exclude":false,"_sitemap_priority":"","_sitemap_frequency":""},"class_list":["post-6428","tutorial","type-tutorial","status-publish","hentry","tutorialcategories-main-page-1"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.schoolmate.eu\/es\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tutorial\/6428","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.schoolmate.eu\/es\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tutorial"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.schoolmate.eu\/es\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/tutorial"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.schoolmate.eu\/es\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/4"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.schoolmate.eu\/es\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=6428"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
