How to use the Student\u2019s App<\/span><\/h1>\r\n\r\n

Downloading the App:<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\r\n

You can download the SchoolMate Student\u2019s Android App from Google Play<\/a><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>and the iOS version from the\u00a0Apple Store<\/span>.<\/a><\/span>\u00a0You can use these to enter attendance and lesson details.<\/p>\r\n

When you have downloaded the App, you will be asked if you want to receive notifications. These are messages which your school might want to send you via your mobile about changes in your timetable etc.,<\/p>\r\n

Log in screen:<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\r\n

Once you have downloaded the App, you will see the following.<\/p>\r\n

    \r\n
  1. Put the URL of your school\u2019s SchoolMate account. You do not need to put<\/span><\/strong> https:\/\/.<\/li>\r\n
  2. Enter your login credentials.<\/li>\r\n
  3. Click \u201cLogin\u201d\u00a0 to enter your account.<\/li>\r\n
  4. If you want to view the system automatically in a different language, change the default language here.<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n

    Main Page:<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\r\n

    After Logging in, you will be taken to the Main Page. Click to see:<\/p>\r\n

      \r\n
    1. A list of your upcoming classes.<\/li>\r\n
    2. All your school’s holidays.<\/li>\r\n
    3. The news that your school has posted into SchoolMate.<\/li>\r\n
    4. If you have an e-document to sign – typically a contract which your school has sent you, it can be signed online by clicking here.<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n

      If you click on the menu, you will see something like this:<\/p>\r\n

      You can add a photo or image via the Profile menu item (see below).<\/p>\r\n

      Here you can make changes to your contact and other information held in your school\u2019s SchoolMate account.<\/p>\r\n

      Click here to change your account login password.<\/p>\r\n

      If you would like to see what details have been added to a lesson, click the lesson:<\/p>\r\n

      If you are attending more than one group or would like to see your lessons for a particular time period of time, click the filter.<\/p>\r\n

      1. All the groups you are enrolled in are listed here. Select a group.<\/li>\r\n
      2. Enter a time period.<\/li>\r\n
      3. When you have made your selections, click here.<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n

          2. If you are enrolled in more than one group, or would like to see your attendance for a particular time period of time, click the filter.<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n

            Your school’s administrators or your teacher can send you messages through SchoolMate to your phone if you have allowed SchoolMate to send you notifications – see \u00abDownloading the App\u00bb above. Click here to read your messages.<\/p>\r\n

            Grades:<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/h2>\r\n

            If your school is marking students’ progress in their studies, your grades and results will be shown here. To see them, just click on the group name.<\/p>\r\n

            Tests:<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\r\n

            If you have taken any online tests with your school, the results will be shown here.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n

            Resources:<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\r\n

            If your school lends study material to students, anything you have borrowed will be shown here.<\/p>\r\n

            Documents:<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\r\n

            Any certificates or contracts that have been created about your studies can be downloaded here.<\/p>\r\n

            Payments:<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\r\n

            There are three sections to this menu item: List, Transactions and Invoices. The last two just detail what transactions you have carried out and details of invoices created for you.<\/p>\r\n

            List:<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\r\n

            This gives an overview the value of the lessons you have bought through your school, the amount you have paid and the balance outstanding. You can also make payments for your lessons from this page using a credit or debit card.<\/p>\r\n

            Making Payments:<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/h4>\r\n

            There are two payment types possible, depending on how your school has created your groups. \u00abTop up\u00bb where you decide how much you want to pay and \u00abPay Installment\u00bb where there is a schedule of payments to be paid and you select the payments to be paid.<\/p>\r\n

            When you click on a group you will see the type of payment that can be made.<\/p>\r\n
