They are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.schoolmate.eu\/en\/tutorial\/finance-settings\/#Numberings\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Numberings<\/span><\/span><\/a>\u00a0\u2013 this tells the system what type of documents you wish to create and the numbering format for them.<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.schoolmate.eu\/en\/tutorial\/cash-transactions\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Cash Register<\/span><\/a>\u00a0<\/span>\u2013 you will need to create a cash box(es) to be able to receive cash payments.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.schoolmate.eu\/en\/tutorial\/finance-settings\/#user-details\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Issuer Details<\/span><\/span><\/a>\u00a0\u2013 the details about your school that will appear on your financial documents.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.schoolmate.eu\/en\/tutorial\/finance-settings\/#payment-types\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Payment Types<\/span><\/span><\/a>\u00a0\u2013 when creating transactions you will need to tell the system what type: cash, invoice, deferred it is.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Two other items can be added but are not essential:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.schoolmate.eu\/en\/tutorial\/finance-settings\/#payment-schemes\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Payment Schemes<\/span><\/span><\/a>\u00a0\u2013 if your students can pay by instalments you can create these and add them to the students automatically when they join a course.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.schoolmate.eu\/en\/tutorial\/finance-settings\/#discounts\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Discounts<\/span><\/span><\/a>\u00a0\u2013 if your students are offered discounts to standard prices you will need to create them first.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Creating a Debt:<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Before you can add a payment for a course, the student or company must have a debt.
